The DeSoto Tudor on Capitol Hill is adjacent to the Utah State Capitol, Memory Grove, and just minutes from Downtown Salt Lake City. The architecture on DeSoto Street is a charming mix of old and new, lined with massive sycamore trees planted in the late 1920’s, that create a natural arch across the street. The neighborhood is teeming with character and we can’t wait to show it off to you!
The DeSoto Tudor is a unique property, built in 1930 and it has had only six owners. Each has brought something unique in style to this house, which still has its original charm. The cove ceilings and the arched doorways of the living room create an elegant and inviting path the front of the house to the back, where our guest can enjoy the view of the stunning sunsets of the Salt Lake Valley.
You might want to start your day on lower deck, sipping a cup of coffee or tea in the morning. Maybe it might be a good time and place to learn yoga or meditation. When you get back for the evening, enjoy the sunset over the Oquirrh Mountains and the Great Salt Lake, have a beverage, use the grill, sit around the fire pit or just unwind in the hot tub.
Just experience solitude and think about nothing.
